At our workshops we maintain and repair a wide variety of trailers and we're currently looking for a mechanic with welder fabricator skills to join the team. While there is a large variety of work in our trailer fleet, the position will also will include assisting in the repairs and manufacture of other machine panel work to keep our fleet at a high operating standard.

Ideally, we'd like to have someone with a strong fabrication and welding standard to NZS4711, AS/NZS2980 background, who likes to have a variety in their workday.

What you'll do:

• Diagnose and carry out repairs and preventive maintenance to hire plant
• Assist in developing in house systems to prevent future plant failure
• Assist in training internal staff in correct repair procedures

What you need:

• A full Driver Licence (other classes and Endorsements an advantage)
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information
• Basic to intermediate computer skills and good record management techniques
• A relevant trade qualification or significant job experience
