DUNEDIN WORKSHOP FOREMAN ROLE : Stainless steel

Are you looking for a new challenge or the next step up in the stainless steel engineering space? We have an exciting role within a forever growing Dunedin based company. They are searching for a Workshop Foreman to oversee their team of Stainless Steel welders.

You will work closely with your team and Manager on a range of projects servicing the busy Australian Mining industry. A large part of this role is hands on and demonstrating quality workmanship and training the more junior team members.

We need an individual who is highly motivated, can lead and support others within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in staff supervision, induction, training & direction.

Follow & comply to all H&S policies and procedures.

Provide quality management & document control.

Ensuring job scheduling is filling orders on time & to a high standard

Contract administration where advised

Leadership, and mentoring

Key Requirements:

Qualified Fitter/Welder

5+ years’ experience in a similar environment

Team leadership/ Leading hand experience

Valid Full NZ Driver’s License

Excellent communication skills

Have an analytical and problem-solving mindset

Strong time management skills

Fully Vaccinated & with full immediate NZ work rights
