Job Description

Role Purpose

Collaborating within The FM team, the concierge role is to embody and deliver our 7-star experience with energy, passion and presence to all guests. Reporting into the Facilities Manager this important position sets the tone of the flow of the meeting room experience by creating the best first impression for each meeting every time. 

General

This customer facing position acts as the frontline for support for both front of house and floor ambassadors. Tasks will range from meeting room sets, turn around post meetings and setting up for the next day ensuring each meeting get the same exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities 

Ensure that all meetings  rooms are  ready to go each day as per the booking requirements.

Be the main point of contact for Reception requirements in terms of visitors/new starters, internal requests

Collaborating with IT, maintenance, cleaning and other key departments to ensure timely reporting and closing out of tickets and jobs   

Develop and maintain fantastic communication with key colleagues 

Fostering and living a team spirit culture attending daily Team Boards meetings to ensure all departments are communicating key events and working in collaboration

Support in management of stationery stock within the copy hubs to ensure adequate levels

Complete regular floor walks, be proactive in fixing any issues and reporting any which you cannot resolve

To be an ambassador for the Pearson app using the technology to support managing the floors as well as encouraging personnel to use daily and offering ideas for upgrade and improvements

Daily management of meeting rooms as per the Playbook and review on bi monthly basis.

Report health and safety hazards and raise tickets to both facilities and IT related Helpdesk

General manual handling when required in line with E learning training team in the processes of minor move related requests Support the Facilities Manager in monitoring services and suppliers and ensure that the required standards are maintained ensuring SLA’s & KPI’s Assist the Facilities Management
