Location : Invercargill Southland Work Type : Contract / Temp Salary : $31 / hr

Registered Nurses - Part time to Fulltime hours per week - am and pm shifts.

• Utilise your sound assessment tele phone skills; hours from .4 FTE to fulltime
• Enjoy the security of planned work whilst safe in your "bubble"

Training for 5 days online then your hours can be from .4FTE to 1FTE - you chose how many per week. (16hrs to 40hrs) Fixed term contract until 30th June 2022

• Intakes per week starting;
• 21st February - 25th February
• 28th February - 4th March
• 7th March - 11th March
• 14th March - 18th March

What you can expect :

• Work from home - need to meet IT criteria for Internet and phone connections
• Work hours from 7am - to 10pm - rostered am and pm shifts.
• Night duties available if you would like these, within hrs 8pm to 8am
• Use leading edge technology - best of both worlds; nursing and IT
• Part time; .4, .6, .8 FTE or 40hrs per week - what do you need?

What you have to do :

• Client requires that you are double vaccinated with Booster vaccine planned or received.
• 5 days training online with senior trainers
• Via phone, complete Welfare checks with clients
• Use your triage skills to understand the situation you are dealing with
• Provide sound clinical guidance on the next steps for the client
• Document the calls using IT tools
• Follow procedures and protocols associated to the situation

Skills & Experience

• Registered Nurse with a current APC
• Any clinical nursing experiences welcome
• A warm, friendly telephone manner with clear spoken English
• Good computer skills and the ability to multitask; type and talk.
• You must have your own Laptop or Desktop Computer and suitable internet connection Fibre or VDSL Internet.
