Job Background/context:

This role is based in London

This is a position within the WM Operations team in UK Personal Wealth Management business in London that offer Offshore and Retail Wealth Management services to clients from EMEA countries. The candidate will support the Investment Ops manager in delivering process changes that enhance client experience and deliver positive results for business.  

The purpose of this role include

• Lead & deliver Change in Wealth Management (WM) Operations function. 
• Working with internal and vendor teams ensuring implementation of system enhancements, changes to processes, controls & documentation.
• Being a lead for UK WM Ops in Global and Regional initiatives involving automation & Standardization of processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively work with WM Ops manager, Technology, Product & business stakeholders to implement process & system changes in WM space
• Initiate change requests for opportunities that require systemic enhancements and work with Demand management team to priorities in BOW
• Lead projects by contributing as Ops SME through finalizing functional requirements, oversee testing and implementation of changes while ensuring there is no delay as result of Ops input
• Participate in Regional & Global Standardization and automation initiatives relating to WM processes and ensure timely delivery of necessary output expected from UK
• Represent UK in Regional WM Operations forum and working with WM Ops partners across Citi Private Bank, Singapore, Hong Kong & UAE to deliver common changes – systemic and process.
• Work closely with Ops Manager, Product, Compliance and Control teams to understand changes to regulations and support implementation of systemic or process changes required to meet regulatory requirements
• Supporting training and communication as part of change management. Activities may include designing or delivering specialized training to Operations teams Offshore (outsourced service provider) creating process flows and ensuring timely update to Operations procedures
• Create reports to communicate the progress and timeline of the changes with Senior Ops Management Proactively highlight any risk to delivery and manage expectations
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the performance related to the change request ensuring process and delivery meet expectation

Knowledge/Experience:

• 5-8 years relevant experience in handling Change management in Core Operations
• Knowledge of Investment Products & Experience of Trade lifecycle, Settlement,  Asset Servicing & Reconciliation processes
• Ability to work with minimal supervision within a team environment
• Experience in developing process flows using Visio and/or Blue works
