Boeing Information Technology and Data Analytics is seeking a Wisk Joint Venture ITBP Strategic Leader for an IT Business Partner role to support a growing emerging business within Boeing called Boeing AvionX an expanding Boeing Joint Venture. In this role you will be supporting Wisk Aero, an exciting Boeing Joint Venture that is developing the first autonomous all-electric passenger aircraft certified in the U.S. You will also be supporting the Boeing AvionX Emerging Business. Boeing AvionX is a One Boeing approach that creates, provides and supports integrated aerospace electronic systems and services that consistently deliver market-leading customer value.
The successful Wisk Joint Venture ITBP candidate will join a large, diverse matrixed team that includes teammates in 13 locations, 5 countries and 9 US states. As a key member of the program leadership team, the IT Business Partner will work directly with businesses and functions to understand key initiatives, and represent the business and functions within IT to engage the right resources, explore alternatives and deploy the right solutions. The IT Business Partner will also support active campaigns, optimize IT costs and ensure the solutions are secure and compliant. This role will be tasked with creating a better digital experience for Boeing employees so they can support these fast-moving, innovative business needs. The successful candidate should be comfortable building a strategic vision for the program, and equally comfortable managing day to day tasks and issues that need resolution. Position Responsibilities:
Leads and administers post production requests for quotes containing long lead times, high value and/or lengthy bills of material.
Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements.
Leads and monitors customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers.
Executes purchase orders to internal business partners and manages supply, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into business processes.
Anticipate important or critical events, identifying resource requirements and assigning responsibility for specific work, including deadlines and performance expectations.
Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.
General understanding of maintenance, modifications, retrofit processes and procedures.
Drives decisions that support internal/external programs, customers and product/order commit dates
Optimizes execution of the supply chain, balancing inventory, supply orders and scheduled demands
Provide Modification Program timely communication, leadership and continuous process improvement.
Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person†as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person†includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
5+ years of relevant Information Technology experience
5+ years of relevant experience working with a business unit to understand requirements and/or managing technology projects
Bachelor's degree or higher
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Familiarity with Boeing IT systems and processes
Familiarity with defense products and services
