Warehouse Operative PM Shift

FULL TIME / PART TIME / FLEXIBLE HOURS AVAILABLE

At Hermes we’re always on the lookout for new talent and we currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for Warehouse Operatives to join our growing hub team.

• £11.25 per hour (Includes £0.44 per hour uplift for seasonal period)

• 32 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays)

• Full-time contracts are 40 hours per week, working 2pm – 10.30pm. However, part-time and flexible hours are available.

• Weekend working may be required

What You’ll Do:

Our Warehouse Operatives work with a clever conveyor system that moves our parcels through the Warehouse.  You will be responsible for:

• Loading and unloading of vehicles

• Manual and Automatic Sorting

• Moving pallets

• Usage of hand-held terminals (HHT’s) and Pump-trucks (Full training provided)

At times, you'll have to deal with large volumes of parcels, but you'll be given space to get the work done, thinking quickly to hit moving targets.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• Ability to comply with company and health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment

• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team – previous Warehouse Operative experience would be an advantage but not essential
