Roles and Responsibilities

• Liaison between Customer and all Company Business Units
• Support day to day distribution operations to include but not limited to, Receipt / Issues in line with business and regulatory processes and procedures.
• Identify shipping inaccuracies and be the focal for such events.
• Analyse documentation in line with the current processes and regulations.
• Assist with the loading / unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Perform on site deliveries as required by the business to maintain operational readiness.
• Support business KPI’s.
• Liaise with freight agents / hauliers as required.
• Assist with departmental audits.
• Manage a small inventory.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards and ensure business polices are adhered to.

Knowledge & Experience

• Previous Warehouse and Distribution knowledge and experience is essential.
• Be in possession of a Counter Balance / Reach Forklift licence and used within the last 2 years.
• Dangerous Goods Awareness (ADR / IATA / MDG) advantageous.
• Knowledge of HMRC regulations and the impact it has on current operations is advantageous, but not essential.
• Be IT literate with common MS Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• MJDI Experience advantageous, but not essential.
