What you’ll do:

•Act as subject matter expert on all aspects of the Sky Mobile core including IMS, STP, DRA, HSS, SBC, SIP & C7 signalling.
• Act as interface for voice related implementation and acceptance testing and produce all required documentation in support of the deployment of designs and the hand-over of equipment to Operations.
• Create Methods of Procedure (MOPs) to define the process for making changes on the live voice network with minimum disruption.
• Provide 3rd / 4th line support to the Operations teams as a point of escalation for any design related network switching faults for the operational platforms and 1st line support during the deployment of the new systems.

What you’ll bring:

• Detailed knowledge of the following protocols and signalling systems as well as other standards associated with telephony switching in the UK and Europe: SIP, SIGTRAN, Diameter.
• Candidates should have at least 3 years’ experience covering some of the following voice technologies: IMS, Session Border Controllers, Voicemail systems, Mobile Voice services.
• Experience of virtualisation and cloud voice architectures (Openstack VNF)
• Experience in working with VoLTE, VoWiFi, Signalling Firewalls (SIGTRAN, Diameter)
• Automation experience
• Experience with Nokia Core IMS is desirable
