Our Team

In the Intelligent Automation we design, build, and operate the bank's Chatbots, Data Science, NLP/NLG, and Robotics projects.

We're a diverse group of people: Software Engineers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Robotics Specialists, Conversation Designers and many more. We come from a variety of backgrounds across the globe, but we all share in the vision of the untapped potential of human and machine intelligence.

What follows is what you might find yourself doing on an average day in Virtual Assistants, but your experience will depend on the team's needs as well as your own aspirations. Our goal is to help you develop in a way that fulfils you, and create an environment where you can do what you enjoy.

• You'll practice scrum in a small engineering team that sits within one of our product labs.
• You will use your hands-on experience with Watson Assistant, Luis, Dialogue Flow or other conversational AI
• Bring your understanding of Natural Language Processing models and approaches to training, including intents, entities etc
• You’ll be testing and supporting the team to deploy the Conversations to our live Chatbots.
• You'll work with stakeholders in and out of feature teams and projects building long lasting collaborative relationships.
• Be a strong advocate of industry trends, innovation and continuous improvement demonstrating how we can remain competitive in a fast paced environment.
• You’ll be able to use your Experience and knowledge across the entire Test Lifecycle including Quality Engineering, Test Lifecycle, Test Models, Best Practices, Test Benchmarking and Test Tools.
• You’ll use your automation first Test approach with a passion for driving productivity and a focus on reducing risk.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is passionate to lead and work collaboratively across the teams in order to align to the Digital Test Strategy.
• Experience with regression testing and cross validation tests, e.g. K-fold, Monte Carlo
• Loves to learn different technologies and sees tests as a tool not a necessary evil.
• Excitement about enabling others to achieve greater results than one can achieve alone and being part of a wider delivery team responsible for end to end solutions
• Thinks about the customer, and not just the code.
• Confidence to express own opinions, and be pragmatic about modifying them when appropriate
• Significant Problem solving, fixing and analytical skills.
• Understanding of Azure Cloud would be an advantage or other similar cloud environment with automated pipelines.
