Join EDF as a UX/UI Design Executive and you’ll provide strong creative input across the design and delivery lifecycle, ensuring human-centred design processes and guidelines are standardised, monitored and maintained across all aspects of the customer journey.
EDF has ambitious goals for digital. Already a principal customer contact channel, we aim to create delightful user experiences that place the customer at the heart of everything we do and digital at the centre of all activity.
We’re looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join the In-House Digital Agency (IHDA). As a small team of UX/UI designers and CRO experts with an ambition to deliver great customer experiences across all our web and mobile applications.
In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a market-leading company pension scheme, paid holidays with ability to buy additional holiday and a range of flexible benefits, such as: a company incentive bonus plan, health cover, cycle to work scheme, electric vehicle scheme, gym membership, discounts, and employee pricing.
Whilst your base office will be in Hove, we’ll support you to work flexibly from home (supplying a suite of IT equipment), whilst coming together on site to offer face to face support and collaboration.
At EDF, everyone’s welcome. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse environment where everyone has a voice and where you feel confident being yourself. We’re committed to equality, diversity, inclusion. We’d like our future workforce to have an equal gender balance, represent a broad mix of people from minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, those with a disability and supporting social mobility.
We’re an equal opportunity and disability confident employer. If you feel comfortable sharing with us that you have a disability, you meet the minimum criteria for the role, we will guarantee you an interview.
We’ll value the difference you bring and give you opportunities to thrive and succeed and to feel you belong.
As a core member of the design team, with strong UX and UI skills, you will take ownership of the end-to-end experience across our digital channels. Crafting user journeys that align to our user experience principles, delivering user interfaces that meet the latest accessibility guidelines, alongside developing and maintaining our design system; the single source of truth for all User Interface components across EDF.
Working alongside internal and external stakeholders, you’ll collaboratively manage the design process utilising analytics, user research and best practice to identify new opportunities that ensure we deliver the best experience for our customers and the business.
With a collaborative approach, you will be a great partner to other designers, writers, and your cross-functional teammates. You will facilitate workshops, and meetings as well as user testing (in-person and online) and you’ll be open and receptive to feedback.
