At Sky, UX Designers work with call centre advisors and project delivery teams to create software that delivers a best-in-class experience and the best service to our customers. As a UX Designer you’ll be creating design concepts that inspire, engage and excite; you must be passionate about this.

What you’ll do:

• Demonstrate an ability to come up with innovative ideas, solve problems creatively and shape these into logical, coherent solutions that centre around our users’ needs.
• Work with stakeholders in the delivery function including analysts, engineers, solution architects and business areas to represent and advocate the value of UX design and User Centred Design practices.
• Help to maintain an efficient design delivery process, through regular clear communication with delivery teams and consistently delivering to schedule.
• Demonstrate a knowledge and desire to investigate, innovate and develop emerging design, UX and technology trends.
• Work closely with the Design team to ensure visibility and provide input into group design critiques
• Work with a team of UI Designers to ensure any UX design changes help to compliment the overall user experience and journey

What you’ll bring:

• Several years’ experience showing a strong UX background in interpreting complex business requirements and translating sometimes competing business objectives into designs which meet user needs.
• Able to work from a high-level architectural level right down to detailed interactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to convey complex design concepts clearly to different delivery skill sets within the organization.
• Proven experience of UCD design principles and research methodologies, with an ability to create user journeys, user flows, sitemaps, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Experience working within a high-pressure delivery environment, and in a highly collaborative approach with multiple delivery skill sets.
• Experience of running discovery and design workshops, helping drive alignment and innovation through experiences we deliver.
