We are looking for experienced Utility Arborists' to join our expanding Wairarapa Team (qualified Level 3 Utility Arb NZQA minimum requirement).

The positions are full-time positions 40 - 45 hours per week minimum. More hours are available if requested.

The Utility Arborist roles carry a variety of work from large tree removals, climbing, machine-assisted felling through to fine pruning, EWP pruning, and manual pruning around utility powerlines.

To be considered suitable for the Utility Arborist positions, it is preferable that you have the following:

• Experienced working around utility networks maintaining vegetation.
• Level 3 Utility Arborist Qualification (Minimum requirement, non-negotiable). However, if you have an NZQA level 4 qualification in Arboriculture we can provide the appropriate training to obtain your Utility Arborist Qualification.
• Experience using EWP's and carrying out manual climbing techniques for the management of vegetation around network assets.
• Minimum Class 1 full NZ driver license, Class 2 preferred, Class 5 great (we can provide full driver training for the right candidate).
• WTR license endorsements an advantage.
• Have a strong and safe work ethic with a production-focused personality, a drive for quality, along with a willingness to learn, progress and improve.
• Have a good level of fitness and are a team player with a positive attitude (non-negotiable).
