The Opportunity
The responsibility for Offset Execution will be moving to Programmes and a new vacancy has opened up within the business for the right individual to support the UK Head of Offset Execution and Industrial Partnership. This role will be responsible for the UK Offset delivery, forging relationships with Offset Authorities and internal teams to ensure:
Existing Offset Contracts are delivered on time and to cost
New Offset Requirements are understood and deliverable ahead of bid submission/Contract signature
Offset Credits are claimed, liabilities removed and Agreements closed
Key Roles and Responsibilities are:
Accountable for the delivery Offset Contracts on time and to cost
Accountable to the Offset Authority
Negotiate amendments to existing Offset Contracts where required
Claiming Offset Credits, removing liabilities and closing Agreements
Act in the role of Business Bid Authority for new Offset Requirements, ensuring they are understood and deliverable ahead of bid submission/Contract signature
Collect knowledge, best practice and lessons learned to ensure MBDA is appropriately equipped and structured with the right processes to successfully deliver Offset.
Provide advice, guidance relating to Offset Delivery where required
What are we looking for?
Strong relationship building experience (both external and internal) in an export environment
Experience in negotiating with customers and/or industrial partners.
Ability to operate flexibly and able to add definition around fluid situations.
Project Management skills able to manage projects on time and to budget
Awareness of Offset Agreements and execution of said agreements.
