BUILDING CONSULTANCY PATHWAY OVERVIEW 

BUILDING SURVEYING

This programme is for graduates wanting to specialise as Building Surveyors. We will support you in gaining the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). You'll work within our Building Consultancy department and have opportunities to spend time working in different disciplines. Whilst you will probably specialise within a particular discipline after qualification, during your training you will gain experience in building surveys, dilapidations, design and project management across the full range of property types.

ROLE PURPOSE

Our building surveying team provide technical advice to landlords and tenants across the whole property life cycle including building surveys, dilapidations, planned maintenance and refurbishment of existing buildings. Our clients harness our expertise and insight to help them buy, develop, occupy, maintain or sell land and buildings with confidence. This team is the heart of everything practical about buildings and building, with seven core business lines focus on the most important areas for anyone involved with real estate. 

Our dedicated teams work across six market sectors including office, retail, residential, life sciences, operational real estate and industrial and logistics. EDUCATION

We welcome graduates who hold RICS accredited degrees in Building Surveying, this could be Bachelor or Masters level.
