UI/UX Designer is a varied role working on multiple projects whilst always focussing on delivering pixel-perfect designs with detailed guidance for development teams. You’ll work closely with a wide range of colleagues including Designers, Developers, Product Owners, Insight Analysts, as well as teams from Content & Customer Operations and external agencies & contractors. We work across Harrods many digital platforms: primarily harrods.com & the new Harrods Design System as well as external Harrods websites.

No two days will be the same but you’re likely to be: building designs from paper sketches through to pixel-perfect hi-fidelity designs with comprehensive annotations, updating elements within the style guide, co-owning the newly created Design System, gathering insights using data analysis tools, conducting background research, leading kick-off meetings, workshops & design delivery presentations, evaluating performance and identifying future improvements.

• You have strong UI skills which you can demonstrate through a portfolio or work examples
• You have an interest in the whole UX process from gathering insights, leading workshops and running user testing through to running evaluative tests post-release to measure impact & identify future improvements.
• You have a meticulous attention to detail.
• You are an excellent problem-solver and creative thinker.
• You are a team player with great communication skills.
• You have advanced experience using Sketch & knowledge of Figma.
