We are Taylor Preston - a meat processor and exporter of lamb, mutton, goat, beef and associated by-products. Established in 1991, we are privately owned and located in the Ngauranga Gorge, 10 minutes from Wellington CBD. We're progressive, focused on safety and are a cornerstone industry.

We currently have an opportunity for a Treasury and Financial Accountant to join us, working closely with our management accountant. And hopefully, as that one-in-a-million we're looking for, you'll step up to the plate.

You would love this opportunity to provide vital support to our team, as you:

• Deliver forward exchange contracts and rolling new contracts to meet the expected receipt of foreign payments
• Ensure financial transactions are entered on a timely and accurate basis. Primarily this involves reconciling bank accounts daily
• Prepare documentation to enable bank-to-bank payments of export sales
• Submit tax and other required returns and payments on a timely basis. Reconcile tax against IRD statements
• Assist with monthly account preparation
• Prepare end of year financial statements

Your strong cash flow and treasury management skills will set you in good stead, as will your in-depth knowledge of taxation and accounting rules. You've already got several years of experience under your belt and ideally are CA qualified. You're solutions-focused, forward-thinking and analytical.
