This role is responsible for Sales and Inventories, Product Margins and Other Variable Costs.
Creates and maintains accurate sales reporting for both the PUMA Golf and Cobra brands
Maintains inventory reporting and forecast files and prepares monthly business reviews for management
Creates margin reports, analyses, and forecasts for both the Cobra and PUMA products
Tracks and reports on detailed product margins to enable the decision making of product line management and R&D
Provides pricing scenarios and analysis
Partners with management to identify key margin and cost drivers and implements the necessary action plans and monitoring to achieve improvements
Provides transparent and accurate reporting on our royalty income and expenses including monthly accrual postings as well as review and approval of invoices
Liaises with PUMA Germany (PUMA SE) and ensures that royalty expenses and income are allocated to the correct PUMA entity
Provides a transparent and timely royalty forecast
Works with external royalty partners to ensure that key information is shared at the appropriate point in time (e.g. royalty statements)
Provides reporting and analysis for our outbound freight costs to identify savings and efficiencies
YOUR TALENT
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
2-4 years of experience in a Corporate Finance or Accounting environment
Strong analytical and data organizational skills required
Detail-centric and working with high accuracy without losing sight of bigger picture
Advanced Excel skills required
Strong communications skills, able to interact with multiple levels of management
Team player attitude is critical
SAP, Hyperion, Power BI knowledge a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
