Treasury Analyst

This is a great a career opportunity for an ambitious and proactive individual that would like to gain experince in cash management and treasury. The role will be responsible for accurate and timely cash flow forecasting and ownership of bank reconciliations. The role will support the Head of Treasury and the wider team in delivering cash flow forecasting and analysis.

This role can act as a fantastic platform to develop a career in finance and lead to opportunities in the future, whether that be in treasury or moves into other roles in finance.

You will be responsible for:

  • Cash flow forecasting, Bank reconciliations, Working Capital, Process improvements, Financial control, Work on own initiative, Build strong working relationships,
  • Accurate and timely cash flow forecasting supporting the business and Treasury in and weekly / monthly forecasting together with delivering H1 and H2 targets
  • Daily cash position reporting, utilising available borrowing facilities in line with group policy to ensure liquidity and efficiency is maintained.
  • Take full ownership of a number of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that these are completed to agreed deadlines and reconciling items followed up and resolved on a timely basis. 
  • Express ideas and facts in a clear and confident manner, verbally and written to both finance and non finance personnel.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement and control, sharing learning's with others where appropriate.
  • Take appropriate corrective action when required, identify and recommend solutions, escalating where necessary. Take ownership of the solution to prevent further occurrences.
  • Build strong working relationships feel comfortable positively challenging and providing feedback across a wide range of business issues and levels of seniority.
  • Support the wider Treasury and Cash team in delivering company, finance and team priorities.

Requirements:

  • Studying for a Finance / Treasury qualification looking to develop a career.
  • Interest in cash management and treasury.
  • Proactive attitude and drive to develop.
