A career in our Transformation Risk & Advisory team, within our Risk Assurance practice, will provide you with the opportunity to work on some of the largest transformation programs across Canada. You will work with a team whose focus is on solving complex problems for our clients and supporting them in achieving their program objectives. You will leverage your prior experience and skillset to bring innovative solutions, tools, technologies and best practices in delivering for our clients.

Our Transformation Risk & Advisory team is growing and comprises a truly international team, with a wealth of experience in transformation advisory services, program and project delivery and risk management. A key focus for the team currently is to embrace and use the latest digital technologies to enhance our service delivery and successful candidates will be provided with focused training to support the adoption of these technologies. Based on our success in the marketplace, we are looking to expand our team's footprint and support new programs of work.

What you’ll create and do:

As a Manager/experienced Manager, you'll work as part of a team of specialists, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Working collaboratively with other audit and non-audit specialists to meet and exceed our client needs.

Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above

Delivering and/or assessing large complex programs or projects

Work with audit and non-audit clients to address the risks associated with significant technology change / implementations.

Developing and executing programme and project assurance strategies and plans

Develop program assurance strategies for major organizational investments made by our clients

Be involved in the financial management of clients

Lead and conduct gateway reviews, deep dives and capability assessments of program, identifying risks, conducting analysis of findings and providing meaningful advice

Train, coach, and supervise team members 

Supporting Senior Managers, Directors and Partner in the planning of implementation audits based on a careful assessment of risks and controls in compliance with PwC's auditing standards

Lead client proposals and drive impactful conversations with senior client leaders

Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

Continue to develop internal relationships and the brand of the team

Act to resolve issues which prevent effective team working, even during times of change and uncertainty

Develop a perspective on key global trends, including globalization, and how they impact the firm and our clients

Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties

Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

What you’ll bring to this role

Proven experience leading Project Assurance of technology enabled Transformation projects for audit and non-audit clients.

Proven experience supporting implementations of complex system/transformation initiatives and/or leading workstreams. 

Highly confident with implementing or performing project assessments, programme gateway reviews, risk-based reviews

Good understanding of ERP environments (for example Oracle, SAP, D365)

Knowledge of Enterprise system implementation knowledge, e.g. SAP, Oracle, or other industry specific enterprise systems, Cloud technology implementation, Data and analytics is considered an asset

Exceptional commitment to providing excellent client service, by building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external clients

Advanced analytical, problem solving and multitasking/project management skills

Strong abilities to write and deliver proposals to prospective clients

Confident to effectively negotiate, problem solve, and influence through verbal and written communications.

Professional services experience, i.e. with a Big 4, project management or systems integrator consultancy 

Client management and/or business development

Project team leadership

Certified Project Manager (PMP, PMI PMBOK, APM BOK, PRINCE2, MSP, MoR, Agile, or Benefit Realization), Agile project delivery, Program office or PPM Centre of Excellence is considered an asset.

Co-authorship of thought leadership articles or blogs

Bilingual proficiency in French and English is considered an asset
