What will you be doing?
The Digital Finance Transformation team is responsible for the delivery of significant programmes of change. Candidates will need proven project management experience in a fast moving and complex business environment. The role requires implementation of activities which support the Senior Transformation Manager in the execution of the Digital Finance Transformation Strategy. This will include process simplification, capability improvement and digital innovation.
Key accountabilities include:
- Deliver cross-functional Finance initiatives to enable the optimisation of processes and eradication of pain points in line with the Digital Finance Transformation Strategy.
- Own allocated initiatives, ensuring that they deliver in a manner which enables future capability in line with current priorities and the Finance Transformation roadmap.
- Responsible for sprint/delivery planning, governance and the management of cross functional delivery teams; escalating challenges in a timely manner to the Senior Manager for resolution
- Manage the benefits realisation of initiatives in line with the Digital Finance baseline and defined KPI’s; identifying opportunities against the Finance Transformation roadmap or where prioritisation may need to be re-assessed
- Actively engage with the organisation wide Digital strategy, identifying opportunities for improvement which can be exploited by Digital Finance Transformation, champion the digital mind-set within Finance and continually grow personal capability
Who are we looking for?
- Proven background in multi-disciplinary end to end change delivery
- Practical experience of lean tools and approaches to drive process optimisation and continuous improvement
- Project Management experience (waterfall/agile)
- Familiarity with Lean and/or Six Sigma
- Any of the following are beneficial, but not essential: Prince2, APMP, Lean, 6 Sigma, Kaizen, Design Thinking, SAFe Practitioner, Scrum Master, AgilePM, Kanban or equivalent.
