Transformation Lead

Location: Newbury (Full-time remote working during COVID-19)

What will you be doing? 

The Transformation Lead will define the transformation strategy and enable the Business Process Architect, Data Analytics, Automation Consultant, SME’s and Process Owner to radically eliminate steps from the process, create a simple fit for purpose and cost-effective process implementing automation where possible. 

• Define the transformation strategy for the opportunity based on the RSA methodology.
• Alignment with key stakeholders on business value creation.
• Create a high-performance squad.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies for team that have local and remote team members.
• Ensure teams are monitoring progress against goals.
• Help teams get answers / connection they need.
• Facilitate the processes related to the completion of tasks and the identification of dependencies with other teams.
• Build a culture of delivering working process solutions or software frequently.
• Coach product owners on backlog management and user story writing and splitting.
• Collaborate with internal customers to transform ways of working.
• Demonstrate an attitude of empowerment to create leadership at all levels.
• Challenge business stakeholders to think in an evolutionary manner, supporting agile delivery approach.

Who are we looking for?  

• A friendly, communicative person, able to lead, coach, mentor, educate and inspire teams towards self-organisation and self-management.
• Strong presentation creation and presenting to a senior audience.
• Scientific, attitude: caring about evidence and willingness to change beliefs based on new evidence 
• Catalyst for teams’ continual improvement
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with one or more of: SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Lean and XP
• Confident and skilled at identifying and navigating through road-blocks 
• Vodafone agile teams are looking for these traits in a transformation lead: confident, humble, generous, empowering, patient, ability to promote innovative thinking and self-development and “awesomeness” 
• Understanding of financials – cost benefits analyses
