Since opening our first shop in 1869, we’ve made a lot of Christmases happen. Over the last 150 years, our food and drink offer might have changed, but our passion for outstanding customer service remains just as strong. Join us as a Nightshift Trading Assistant and you’ll be helping to continue our tradition of creating fantastic festive experiences for millions of families. 

As always, over the Christmas period we’ll be open all day and work through the night to make sure we’re always prepared for last-minute shopping to gift ideas. Which means we need great people like you to join our Winning Team and make Christmas happen.

As a Nightshift Trading Assistant, you’ll be focused on the important tasks of sorting and replenishing stock across the store, checking our produce to make sure it’s always fresh and unloading deliveries.

Part of a close-knit, dedicated team all working and winning as one team, you’ll always have support on hand; but we’ll also trust you to use your own initiative. You’ll be given all the support you need to do the best job you can. It’s about making a difference to everyone around you.  

Whilst we don’t ask for specific experience, we do ask that you’re able to deliver a friendly, efficient, and seamless service and you’re able to be yourself. You can make things happen at pace and you want to learn how to use new technology and gadgets to do your job well.
