What you'll do:

• Responsible for hardware testing and producing test reports
• Maintain and develop automation test tools to improve overall test efficiency.
• Support the Design and Development teams with product testing and evaluation.
• Create and develop test plans and procedures to encompass both existing and upcoming Wi-Fi hardware capabilities and protocols”

What you'll bring:

• Experience in using test and validation methodology to test hardware and/or systems/platforms
• An understanding of how to sort and present test data to illustrate outcome of testing and recommendations.
• Experience in working with developers to design test cases for new products/technology
• Experience in creating and maintaining tools and systems in Labview
• Understanding of network engineering and troubleshooting network problems using tools such as WireShark
• Experience in problem solving
• Experience in summarising technical information with varying levels of detail, depending on audience
• Some experience in managing a test workstack would be desirable

Where you'll work:

The Hardware Test Facility is nestled in the Colchester countryside, protecting it from RF interference so that we can carry out our exciting and vital work. Time will be primarily at this test facility with some time at the Brentwood main office and options for some home working.

Our office location (which you would visit for some team meetings and events) also takes some beating: we’re practically in Brentwood station, which has regular trains to London Liverpool Street. If you find it easier to drive, there’s some onsite parking, while Chatham Way car park is a short walk away
