Myticas Consulting is seeking an experienced test engineer to join the HELIX System Test team. The successful candidate will develop automation and execute manual test cases for end-to-end testing of Helix Virtualization Platform, used by our Aerospace, Industrial and Automotive customers. The goal is to completely test the product in a customer-like environment.

Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain and improve test automation code for the HVP product
• Actively participate in release from creation of test strategy till completion of test cycle
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews
• Mentor junior employees and co-op students
• Perform manual testing of the product as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years experience working in a test role
• Minimum 5 years experience working in a test automation or development role
• Strong leadership skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient with Python
• Strong C, C++ skills
• Comfortable with git
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Comfortable working with shell scripts
• Knowledge of Jenkins
• Familiar with containerization technologies
• Familiar with pytest or other automated frameworks
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and hypervisors is an asset
• Experience working with VxWorks and/or Myticas Consulting Linux is a bonus
