We are looking for an ambitious, motivated, and talented Leeds based Test Analyst to join our My Sky App team. As the Test Analyst at Sky, you will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects we deliver, along with delivering our normal day to day business as usual changes.

There is no such thing as a typical project at Sky and, as such, our projects vary considerably in size, scope.

You will work closely with your tribe to deliver, defect free features and requirements with the highest quality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

– Create manual and automated test cases & plans for feature deliverables with an automate first strategy

– Provide estimations for testing effort on features and requirements

– Execute tests written across both IOS and Android platforms

– Provide real time reporting on testing execution to the Agile Test Lead and their squad

– Defect management (manage and own their defects through to resolution)

– Work with Business Analysts & Product Owners as part of three amigo sessions to define testing scenarios/cases against feature acceptance criteria, and challenge people where required and act as a leader in self

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

– 3 years’ experience as a Test Analyst in both Manual & Automation

– Experienced in testing API’s

– Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins or something similar)

– Strong automation coding skills, ideally in TypeScript or JavaScript

– Service and microservice-orientated architectures that use RESTful interfaces & tools (JSON / XML / Postman)

– Experience working within an Agile (TDD / BDD) environment
