We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our IT team as a Test Analyst based at remotely with occasional travel to our support centre in Worksop.

As our Test Analyst you’ll support the Test Lead and test team in supporting the business in system testing, system integration testing, end to end testing, regression testing, UAT and defect resolution for the business and interfacing with internal departments, 3rd party supplier teams, and development teams, and assisting with the creation and execution of test scripts, test cases and test planning.

Taking huge pride in what you do, your role will involve carrying out functional and user acceptance testing ensuring high quality standards are achieved and contribute to non-functional testing where required. You'll identify test requirements and best approach based on the user requirements. Along with:

• Produce effective test documentation of software issues and enhancement requests ensuring accurate test records are maintained.
• You'll engage with projects in early phases to ensure alignment with the overall release calendar, providing information to the Test Lead / Release Manager on release schedules and plans, building relationships with third parties if required.
•  Assist with the preparation of test plans and test scripts demonstrating the scenario condition, recording software defects and provide technical descriptions as well of evidence, providing feedback and regular updates to the team.
• Ensuring testing is carried out in line with the development program, agreed criteria and process checkpoints (gates) are completed and feedback is provided early in the development cycle to support efficient project delivery.
• You'll ensure the delivery of high-quality releases on time, approval of releases and patches, following the testing and release calendar as well as the release plans for tracking project and release risks and issues.
• Identify and define opportunities for improvement, measurements for those improvements and the implementation and roll out process ensuring overall quality standards and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Work cross functionally with other departments within the organisation to identify any process improvements efficiency and profitability.

For this role we need someone who has a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a test environment with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of technical stakeholders within a fast-paced retail domain. Someone who has the experience in test automation and experience in Digital using SAP including F&R, Finance, POSDM and BW and familiar with SDLC variants would be beneficial; qualified in ISEB/ ISTQB foundation/intermediate level. You will also need to have experience of working with Agile/Scrum.
