Responsibilities

• Researching and rectifying account discrepancies
• Performing other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned
• Assisting with full cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
• Assisting with audit fieldwork for both financial and operational audits
• Preparing monthly journal entries
• Reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts
• Enter data

Requirements

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
• High attention to detail
• Command of Accounts Receivable
• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable
• Account reconciliation experience
• Journal entries experience
• High-level understanding of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience with high volume data entry
• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience at minimum
• Applicants are recommended to hold a BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
