As a Telesales Agent you will be selling energy products and services to new and existing customers, providing an excellent customer service sales experience. This job role will include a wide variety of campaign activity ranging from Sales (Inbound & Outbound) to Lead Generation.
You will acquire and generate a pipeline of new customers for the EDF Energy Business portfolio whilst also supporting the retention of existing customer accounts by identifying customer requirements and advising of EDF Energy products and service benefits. Explaining processes and procedures effectively, ensuring that professional standards of Customer Service are maintained.
You will be responsible for achieving daily/weekly/monthly sales targets and KPI’s aimed at growth, retention and lead generation. These could be both individual and team-based targets and include non-energy sales.
You’ll provide a professional, expert service with a personal touch, treating each customer as an individual & understanding the customer’s situation before taking action.

Being a Telesales Agent at EDF means you will have a proven track record of achieving targets in a Telesales environment together with excellent influencing skills and the ability to demonstrate a range of tactics tailored to the audience to achieve buy-in.
You must have good negotiation skills with the ability to objection handle and close sales using a variety of techniques.
We’re looking for someone with experience in a sales environment; target driven and outcome focused with knowledge of business energy supply market.
