What you’ll create and do:
We are hiring for experienced Senior Managers in Alberta (Edmonton) and Manitoba (Winnipeg) in the Technology Strategy & Transformation team, with deep experience in technology consulting; client, relationship, and account management; and the application of technology within the Government & Public Sector. As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Engagement Delivery and Management
Understand how IT strategies support client business strategies, and help clients to define the right technology solutions to move their business forward
Work with clients to understand the root causes of problems and turn analyses into insight based on your experience
Assess operational readiness for the rollout of new products and services, and document, re-design and implement technology related processes
Communicate complex material effectively in written and oral formats to various audiences
Manage multiple software or services vendors in the context of overall client project success
Manage the end to end delivery (including project economics) of large scale technology advisory and integration consulting projects comprising of multiple resources and teams, ensuring the quality of deliverables and that clients are satisfied with the work

Business Development and Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain client relationships, and work with our other consulting teams to bring forward capabilities to help our client solve their toughest problems
Bring your experience working with the Government & Public Sector to identify new opportunities in the market
Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ business needs and help shape the technology solutions and services provided to them
Stay abreast of key technology and Government & Public Sector industry developments related to our clients business
Work with our Technology Strategy & Transformation practice areas to develop and tailor service offerings to meet our client needs (e.g. strategy, architecture, agile program delivery)
Lead pursuit teams and proposal development, including innovative approaches and methodologies tailored to address specific client requirements

Work as a people leader, coach, and mentor, and play an active role in the development of goals, objectives and focus areas for our staff
Support team activities to foster an environment of collaboration and success both locally and nationally
Connect across the PwC global network to share experiences and apply global ideas to clients, both locally and nationally
What you’ll bring to this role:
Deep experience in the technology strategy and the application of technology in Government & Public Sector
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
A track record of managing the sales cycle and leading a team through business development activities
Demonstrated skills in technology and business, problem-solving, team coordination and communication, and executive engagement
Proven track record of managing and delivering significant business results that reflects strategic and creative thinking, individual initiative and motivating teams
Ability to develop and manage strategic client relationships while providing the highest quality client work across multiple client projects
Demonstrated capability in thought leadership, new business development and securing project extensions, including client lead maturation, proposal development, and closing new business opportunities
Experience in any or all of the following areas will be an asset:
Developing digital strategies, including conducting maturity or needs assessments, identifying and prioritizing opportunities / projects, developing roadmaps and estimates, and building consensus with client stakeholders
Advising on, or developing technology and IT operating models, including governance models and processes
Advising on, or developing product roadmaps, blueprints and implementation roadmaps that align technology investments with critical business prioritie
Automation, integration, analytics and BI, blockchain, IoT, and other emerging technologies
Experience managing or delivering large business and IT transformations and full life-cycle projects including experience with large scale ERP, cloud, and and source technology platforms would be an asset
