Job Description

In this role, we're looking for someone to drive the full end to end process for technology requests, ensuring internal teams and partners are managing requests within agreed service levels and continue to drive our improvement plan. You'll be accountable for the operational running of the following service lines using data driven metrics to drive performance:

  • Desktop Support (2nd & 3rd Line)
  • Starters, Movers, Leavers
  • Tech Bar
  • VIP Support
  • Request Management & Fulfilment
  • Asset Management
  • Build Deployment
  • Printing
  • My Tech Request Portal
  • Service Escalations
  • Own the product catalogue (orderable items) to ensure that a simple process is available to colleagues with accurate information
  • Ensure that Workplace incidents are managed and resolved within SLA which includes both internal and outsourced teams.
  • Ensure high quality information is recorded in the incident record and that knowledge is updated
  • Produce the Workplace Key Measures and hold colleagues and teams to account where measures are not at expected levels

Experience & Skills

  • Successful track record in Desktop Engineering or Support
  • Supplier management & relationship experience
  • Data analysis skills
  • Experience of managing budgets and driving value through any spend

You’ll be fully office based in this role, able to cover the core hours of 10am-4pm. Each four day week will contain four average nine hour days. To be more competitive and support our stores and sites more effectively, we now work over a six day operation, Monday to Saturday inclusive, and everyone in our head office now works one Saturday in every four (or 13 a year), albeit Saturday will be a shorter working day of 6 hours.
