Performs scale inspections and tests according to Measurement Canada’s S-A-01 standard and regulations and related company procedures as directed by company Management.
Sign and issue inspection certificates in accordance with Measurement Canada’s S-A-01 standard (section 5.5.1)
Follows management system policies and procedures. Identifies customer concerns, inspection, test or service nonconformities and improvement ideas to the Quality Control Manager.
Protects the confidentiality of customers and the company. Maintains high level of conduct and ethics in work.
Conforms to company safety policies.

General Duties (including, but not limited to)
Ensure that inspection, test and calibration services are done on time and in accordance with procedures and contractual requirements.
Operate equipment and protect and preserve gravimetric devices and reference standards according to procedures.
Prepares reports or certificates, as required.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent experience in a suitable technical field.
Certification by Measurement Canada as a Recognized Technician in accordance with S-A-01:2006. or equivalent experience
Literacy and mathematical skills necessary to understand both procedures and processes for test and inspection activities.
Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
