This is an exciting role that will give you the opportunity to work with one of New Zealand's leading power generation companies. The projects you will be working on will be with Meridian Energy, a highly essential, and important NZ company that's been around for over 20 years.

Ventia has a very strong presence within the New Zealand services industry, and as such, you will not only have opportunities within the wider Ventia business but also have opportunities within the Telco and Power sector.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will be supporting both Maintenance and Projects works. We have a lot of new projects coming up so you will be helping fill the maintenance role to free critical resources or focused on project works depending on the skillset you bring to the role.

This is a busy but quite straightforward role. Certainly no two projects are the same!

We offer full time and permanent hours, 40hrs a week with overtime as required. There is also away from home work, predominantly within the Mackenzie region but can also be nationwide.

ABOUT YOU

You will need to have good communication skills, be flexible towards work hours and location, happy working in the outdoors in different locations and be a team player keen on producing quality work to our valued Clients.

No qualification required but basic handyman or technical skills an advantage. Experience in the Communications Tech or Electrical industry also an advantage

Due to the multi-disciplinary nature of the role, you will be required to feel comfortable with a large degree of work flexibility.
