As the Technical Trainer, you will provide your expertise on desktop printing and scanning devices such as laser and inkjet printers as well as production scanners to Sales Representative, Dealers, Distributors, Retail channels and end users.

Key Responsibilities

Provide competitive analysis to sales reps by conducting individual market research

Train sales reps, managers and dealers on the Canon’s B2B product line

Maintain and update all training materials as required

Build and deliver presentations to competitively position Canon’s B2B product line

Assist with RFP responses in regards to any B2B products

Assist with sales calls by acting as a technical expert

Assist with content creation for various marketing initiatives

To Succeed, You Will Need:

Post-Secondary education in a technical field

1-3 years of related technical product support/pre-sales/consulting work experience, experience working with B2B products would be an asset

Superb analytical skills to evaluate RFPs, find adequate products to meet requirements and to understand B2B products and capabilities

Strong technical skills to understand software and hardware compatibilities with systems and networks

Excellent equipment operation skills to operate B2B printer product line

Ability to coordinate presentations for events and ensure product recommendations align with business objectives of dealer

Strong experience with PowerPoint to create capturing presentations

25% travel required in Canada and overseas

This position offers a Hybrid work schedule. You will be required to be in the office Mondays and Wednesdays each week, with the ability to work from home for the remainder of the week (subject to specific business needs requiring office attendance)
