What we're looking for

• Expert-level proficiency in 3D Parametric Mechanical CAD modelling and associated modules - ideally PTC's Creo Parametric.
• An ability to associate CAD advanced features to enhance design efficiency in the application of their methods.
• Experience within engineering organisations or operational domains, with a good technical understanding of the product lifecycle.
• Ability to provide advanced CAD / PLM user support – carrying out in depth studies to identify problems and solutionise in the context of complex designs.
• Experience of researching innovative solutions with software vendors.
• A broad level understanding of the downstream stakeholder engagement with CAD Parts and Assemblies coming from the design intent – eg Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Systems Performance, Customer Services Support.
• Passion for mentoring and developing others through the sharing and delivery of knowledge, information and best practice to successfully prepare design teams for the future.
• Strong communication skills, and the confidence to influence and negotiate with a network of partners across the business.
