Technology Specialists (TSs) drive the technical motions within sales driving specific solution area revenue and market share. Based on the tremendous opportunity of digital transformation across every individual and organization, we focus our broad portfolio of assets and go-to-market efforts across four key solution areas: Modern Workplace, Business Applications, Apps & Infrastructure, and Data & AI.  
 
Responsibilities

  • You will build and maintain relationships with executive business and technical decision-makers.
  • Articulate and present the business value of Microsoft’s solutions.
  • Develop a firm understanding of Microsoft’s strategies and product offerings relative to our major competitors. 
  • Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions, proof of concepts, and pilots to explain, demonstrate, and prove to our largest customers the capabilities of Microsoft's products and services, and how we can make their businesses more successful. 
  • Own winning the technical decision and intent of customers for sales opportunities and usage scenarios, through tailoring your message, bringing ideas to customers, engaging with them to show our technology differentiation, and guiding them in decision making.
  • Share practical knowledge with partners to drive the sale, deployment, and adoption of Microsoft solutions. 
  • Orchestrate complex solutions with internal and external partners for multiple Microsoft products and services.
  • Shape current and future products and marketing strategies through feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering. 
  • Need to be willing to travel up to 40% customer and partner meetings. Travel may be reduced due to local or national public health and safety standards.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications  

 

  • Currently pursuing or have completed bachelor's degree in Compter Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field. 
  • Passion for technology and working with customers 
  • Strong balance of both business and technical skills 
  • Exceptional negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills 
  • Technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience is a plus  
  • Fluency in English and Russian languages is mandatory
