Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience managing strategic partnerships or client relationships.
• Coding experience with a general purpose programming language (i.e. Java, C/C++, Python).

Preferred qualifications:

• Development experience with Android devices, other embedded Linux-based platforms, or Android applications.
• Experience with TV and video technologies.
• Excellent communication and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple customers and streams of work.
• Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and analytical skills.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant for Google's TV Partner Engineering team, you'll manage technical partnerships with Google's device-partner companies across the Android TV and Google TV ecosystems - system-on-chip vendors, TV or set-top box OEMs, Operators, and system integrators, with the goals of ensuring high quality devices in market, successful services based on the Android/Google TV platform. You'll optimize implementations to grow business opportunities, and build long-term partnerships. You'll also lead cross-partner initiatives to ensure our technical partnership programs can scale as the ecosystem grows, and the core products evolve to meet partner needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
• Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
• Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
• Act as the engagement manager taking responsibility for the success of our Android TV and Google TV partnerships.
• Optimize implementations to increase business, drive new business opportunities, and manage the overall technical aspects to build strong, successful, long-term partnerships.
