The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Technical Operations Analyst to join us in the Systems and Data Support Team within the Customer Strategy and Technology division. In this exciting role, you will assume the role of Analyst, providing monitoring, technical analysis, troubleshooting issues, resolving issues, document operational support manuals both in a support and enhancement capacity, for systems under management of Technology Operations team.

What you will be involved in

If successful, you will be responsible for conducting analysis, evaluation of functional and non-functional requirements and documentation of technical specifications. You would support the efficient functioning of the team by,

• Provide technical options and subject matter expert assistance for defect fixes and minor enhancements for applications.
• Liaise with service desk, upstream and downstream consumers to co-ordinate and deliver service resolution, provide functional inputs, clarifications to enable the team to resolve issues
• Assist with operational tasks such as issue analysis and responding to ad hoc queries based on the data sets available.
• Deliver technology solutions in the Transport data domain, Transport-related operational systems.

About you

You are a veteran Operations Analyst with experience in utilising Java/J2EE/PLSQL or similar programming skills and usage of tools such as JIRA, Confluence and knowledge on DevOps tools for CI/CD with a great attention to detail and an eye for continuous improvement. Experience in the IT application support and knowledge on ITIL process and DevOps tools and technologies will see you successful in this role. Experience in working with external support vendors would be highly regarded.

Salary and Benefits

Transport Grade 7 ($106,086 - $118,816) plus Super.
