Lead the development of the National Screening Solution including technical direction; governance oversight; security controls; and release / test management.

Te whainga poto o tÄ“nei tÅ«ranga – What is the purpose of this position? 

The Technical Lead will be responsible for leading and driving the development of the National Screening Solution for managing identified screening programmes, including but not limited to: technical direction; governance oversight; security controls; and release / test management using sound technical management disciplines.  The salary range for this position is $140,239 to $186,985 and will be apponted to align with skills and experience.

Ngā PÅ«kenga me ngā Wheako – Skills & Experience: 

• Experience designing technical solutions for programmes and projects to ensure delivery of solutions to meet business needs
• Experience designing / driving / delivery of Salesforce solutions to meet business outcomes
• Broad range of expertise including enterprise architecture, information strategy and planning, vendor management and/or business change
• Advanced knowledge of platform delivery management methods including techniques for planning, monitoring and technical outcomes
  
• Proven ability to write and talk about complex clinical and technical issues clearly and concisely, and to tailor complex messages to a range of audiences including clinical, government, senior management and the public
• Significant experience in strategic communications and engagement planning to ensure delivery of solutions that meet business needs

The National Screening Unit is responsible for the development, management and monitoring of nationally-organised population-based screening in New Zealand.  We are currently working on major technology upgrades to support Breast and HPV screening for New Zealand.

This role falls within scope of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021.  Proof of vaccination is a requirement.
