This is a fantastic Billing Mediation Technical Design Analyst role in the Network to Business Integration team where you will join a fast paced agile team, using the most cutting edge Technology and working on some of the most exciting projects and products.

What you’ll do:

• Work with experienced and talented teams of engineers in mobile networks and software engineering.
• Discuss & negotiate with Sky business teams to gather their requirements for billing, revenue assurance, fraud management, regulatory compliance and data analysis. This includes capturing a complete and accurate description of their requirements.
• Discuss & negotiate with our Telecoms network designers and equipment suppliers to fully understand, and where necessary, specify, the detail of the information the network needs to provide so we fully satisfy the business requirements.
• Produce detailed Billing Mediation Functional Requirements documentation and present the solution to the stake holders in the business and the development & test teams.
• You will also be a source of expertise for the development and test teams helping to interpret the requirements and the network data for implementation.
• Be involved in creating, coordinating the development and test plans for new and existing services and applications
• Use various database tools and scripting languages in Unix for the analysis of data from the network or from other business0 systems.
• Actively engage to help improve our design, development, test and delivery processes

What you’ll bring:

• ·An enquiring mind.
• Skill at communicating complex concepts to audiences with a wide range of technical abilities.
• The ability to work with cross disciplinary teams across the business.
• Previous experience in Mobile and Fixed line telecoms domains.
• Good understanding of the 3GPP Technical Specifications concerning online / offline charging and GSMA TAP format specification.
• Practical experience of system design and requirements documentation ideally in mobile and fixed line telecommunications networks in particular Billing Mediation.
• Experience in Software Development and Testing, particularly Billing Mediation will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with UNIX, SQL, bash or other scripting languages (e.g. ruby, python, perl) is desirable.
• Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure

Team Overview:

The Network to Business Integration team is a cosmopolitan group of friendly & highly skilled engineers working in Sky Group Communications & Infrastructure Department. We design, build & run the interface systems between the Enterprise Business Support Systems and the network core equipment, these include customer provisioning, real time rating & accounting and providing usage & billing data.
