About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Assurance Co-ordinator to join our dynamic Vector Metering team. As the Technical Assurance Co-ordinator, you will contribute to Vectors overall compliance goals.

In this role, you will provide technical and quality assurance services for the Vector Metering Test House and associated field operations, ensuring all field activities are carried out in a technically correct, quality and safe manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing a technical review of all certification field work for Category 2 to 4 metering installations, sampling for Category 1.
  • Determine and assign any remedial work required and provide a recommendation to the Test House Manager for each job to either decline or approve certification.
  • Identify, rectify, and report on technical and quality compliance issues.
  • Work with the Test house Manager and the wider Field Support Team to develop and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Ensure that the introduction, installation, and maintenance of new and existing technologies are managed efficiently and effectively in accordance with the Test House requirements and obligations as set out in the EIP Code.
  • Ensure the application of health and safety process and that these practices are embedded in operational practices of Vector and its contractors.

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have an electrical registration with previous experience in the Electrical Metering Industry. You will have excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly across all levels. Your ability to build relationships and stakeholder management skills will be exceptional.

The following experience will also help to set you up for success:

  • Sound knowledge of operational activities, policies and procedures
  • Quality Assurance/Compliance experience
  • Knowledge of electrical metrology and uncertainties
  • Knowledge of Electricity Regulatory Codes and Standards and Industry Requirements
