We are seeking a Discipline lead / Technical Director to work in within this leading consultancy. You will take a leading role in delivering projects from concept stage to construction, whilst also leading the Rail Civil Discipline, offering mentorship and development to team members. You will business develop and build relationships to build a pipeline of on going work within the heavy haul industry.

Key tasks:

Support the Rail Team Lead and Business Group Manager (Transportation) in developing the Rail Consultancy business locally in WA.

Provide technical / design expertise into rail projects as required and manage the activities of engineering and support staff in this area.

Conducting post service meetings with the client to collect feedback and reinforce positive on going relationship.

Developing a job brief clearly defining the scope of works, program and fee structure based on clients needs

Making technical decisions and providing solutions based on your individual field of expertise and experience and involvement of Service Line Leaders/Coordinators and other specialists as required

Managing all activities related to carrying out the job and issue of deliverables

Key Criteria

• Degree
• Extensive experience within Perths heavy haul industry
