What you’ll do:

Directly engage with Sky Technology and with senior leaders in Business, Technology and Finance to support business growth and to identify opportunities to drive efficiency and performance improvement

Gather and analyse a wide range of data to build the fact base and to ensure objective assessment of new opportunities – including both cost and commercial implications

Develop robust business cases and proposals to inform decision making – signposting the phasing and potential of benefits to be realised

Lead the scoping, implementation planning and launch of transformation initiatives, e.g., ensure that investment and resource requirements are met before launch

Develop compelling storylines, structure and present clear and concise arguments to achieve stakeholder alignment and articulate progress

Work collaboratively with colleagues across Technology / Digital / Operating Efficiency / Finance to maintain the highest levels of engagement and quality delivery output

Challenge teams to consider alternative approaches to tried and tested business methods – to build a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Track and manage the value of change effected using robust benefits realisation methods

Partner with data analytics and insights teams to ensure all recommendations put forward to stakeholders are accurate and validated

What you’ll bring:

Essential

Solid commercial awareness and change management experience

Demonstrable experience in Business Analysis – strong analytical and problem solving

Ability to see the bigger picture and how recommended changes will enable realisation of strategic priorities and business goals

Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working collaboratively across cross disciplined teams

Ability to present information in a structured and clear way, and construct compelling storylines

Strong design aesthetic and presentation skills

Ability to work at pace in a high-performing team environment.

Desirable

A consultancy background, with experience within the major consulting and tech services firms

Proven problem solving and analysis skills in an Agile delivery environment

Exposure to Digital and Technology topics

The Tech Transformation Finance team is an internal high-profile consulting force with the blend of core finance, technology and consulting experience, that supports Group Technology organisation in identifying, sizing and capturing high-value opportunities. We partner with technology leaders across Sky geographies to drive a programme of ambitious change in Group Technology spanning digital innovation, software engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure and service management reaching+3,500 employees, by stretching the level of ambition, setting the pace to hold leaders accountable to delivery timelines, and fostering financial discipline to ensure solid business case for investment.
