What you’ll do:

• Work with the ‘Lead Architect – Tech Innovation’ to identify the existing technology landscape; Assist in the discovering of future opportunities for Tech Innovation; Build communication packs to help influence senior executives to adopt and fund technology innovation initiatives.
• Participate in the Innovation Board to identifying, incubate, and building business cases.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new technology vendors into the DTA estate.
• Working within GCP, with assistance from new technology vendors/internal DTA colleagues, build-out technology demonstrations.
• Attend a variety of conferences covering a breadth of different technologies.
• Support the delivery teams in the adoption of tech innovation.

What you’ll bring:

• A passion for innovation and emerging technologies.
• Proven interest in emerging technologies, such as DataOps, MLOps, AIOps, Data Fabric, Edge Computing, Multi-cloud, IOT, decision intelligence and graph technology.
• Experience in designing or delivering cloud-based solutions and previous hands-on programming experience with Python, Java, JavaScript or Go.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills with confidence speaking with Architects, Vendors, Developers, Operations and Group Security.
• Ability to ‘think outside the box’ to come up with pragmatic solutions.
• Experience in mapping tech innovations to business problems and creating business cases to gain buy in from senior leadership.
