EDF have an exciting opportunity for a Team Member – Accounts Payable who will be responsible for processing invoices, payments, and company cards ensuring all are certified, authorised and processed in line with agreed terms or conditions, will also provide cover for treasury back office activities. You will also provide advice and support to main interfacing departments on all issues relating to the job, also ensuring supplier queries are efficiently resolved, and maintain EDF Energy taxation requirements.
The Accounts Payable Team is responsible for all tasks relating to invoices, payments, company cards, treasury back office and supporting the business as part of this. The team operates efficiently and effectively and provides an excellent service to internal and external customers, working in line with company policies and procedures.
The Team Member will have the opportunity to contribute to success of the function by supporting change and striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. A professional, efficient, courteous and confidential approach will be essential in helping the team maintain its excellent customer satisfaction record.
You may also be required to help and support other Finance Shared Services teams as and when required, and, as Finance Shared Services develops, the responsibilities of this role could grow to incorporate processes from other areas.

We are looking for the following knowledge, skills and experience:
• Good understanding of Accounts Payable
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Demonstrable evidence of administration experience
• Knowledge of SAP system
• Experience of working in a customer service environment
• A proactive, enthusiastic, methodical and adaptable team player with excellent interpersonal and customer focused skills and with an eye for detail.
