Forward Partners is an early-stage venture capital firm, meets startup studio. We invest from day zero through to Series A, focusing primarily on applied AI, marketplaces and e-commerce. In keeping with our core belief that the real work begins after founders raise money, our purpose-built startup studio of in-house engineers, designers, marketers, and talent specialists is on-hand to support our companies to design, build and grow.

The role

We’re looking for a Talent Sourcer that’s passionate about helping founders tackle their most pressing talent challenges. Not in the way typical recruitment agencies or talent consultancies do, but in the Forward way - a way that you’ll come in and help us create and deliver. We’re not only investors but we’re also invested in the success of the companies we back

Requirements

We’re looking for a talented Sourcer with the experience and love for building out passive and active pipelines across mid-senior technical and commercial roles. You will work closely and report to the Head of Talent, and act as a strategic partner to them so we can deliver more hires, faster.

You will share our deep belief that founders need more than money. Together, we will shape the future of VC, with an unrivalled talent offering and team at its core. A team you will be an integral part of.

What will I be doing?

• Understanding the brief and building an appropriate pipeline of candidates
• Providing market insights and reporting
• Ensuring an outstanding candidate and ‘client’ experience
• Proactively nurturing and maintaining relationships with target candidate pools
• Maintaining the applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Being part of the coordination of Portfolio community events such as Talent Dinners
• Working closely with the team to come up with ideas to help attract the most promising talent for the briefs we’re both working on and likely to work

• Proven examples of sourcing candidates creatively - not just on LinkedIn!
• Sourcing for start-up environments
• Experience in sourcing roles across technical, product and commercial roles
• Experience working with external stakeholders and nurturing relationships
