The role:

Both a strategic and operational position, you will provide specialised and tailored talent advice, guidance and support, and ensure the efficient and effective delivery and coordination of recruitment practices across the firm. There is also opportunity to work on strategic talent initiatives to enable the firm to meet its current and future capability requirements.

We are looking for someone to help drive the evolution of our talent management and sourcing offering by providing modern and innovative systems, tools, assessments, processes and enhancements to deliver exceptional results. 
 As our Talent Acquisition Specialist you will:

  • Partner with practise leaders and managers to integrate and align talent solutions across the entire talent lifecycle.
  • Secure high calibre candidates who are a great fit both technically and culturally.
  • Work alongside the People and Capability Manager to set the strategic direction and approach to talent.
  • Promote, enable and execute pro-active direct sourcing strategies and build talent pools.
  • Strengthen our employment brand and promote our unique EVP.
  • Lead and support a range of innovative recruitment projects and initiatives
  • Implement modern and innovative solutions and enhancements to systems, tools, assessment and processes
  • Connect and build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Drive best practice and sector leading approaches across the talent lifecycle
     
  • To be successful in this role you will be an experienced and collaborative talent specialist, who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and is excited to innovate and utilise technology to get the best possible results. In addition, you'll also bring:
  • Exceptional recruitment skills with the ability to see the big-picture and be familiar with the latest trends in talent acquisition.
  • Experience in workforce planning and talent management with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to collaborate, influence and build strong relationships with a range of people across the firm and externally.
  • Proficiency with social media and direct sourcing solutions and leveraging them to find the right, high-quality candidates.
  • Have a passionate, dependable and conscientious approach to work activities.
  • Be tenacious and driven to achieve exceptional results and drive continuous improvement.
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently, while also enjoying cross skilling and supporting the wider P&C crew.
  • You may even have an understanding of how the professional services and law sector operate
