What you’ll do:

– Provide technical support for key Sky Finance and Procurement applications.

– Work closely with the Finance Systems Governance & Control (FSGC) Team, regional technology teams, and your colleagues in Group ERP to ensure an ‘always on’ experience for our internal customers, and a high satisfaction rate for customer service across our business.

– Responsible for the maintenance of ongoing documentation, including job aids, and SOPs.

– Monitor, update and maintain Finance and procurement applications to ensure underlying databases, operating systems, and associated technology components are in support and compliant with Sky Cyber Security and regulatory requirements.

– Manage incidents to conclusion, working with teams across Sky to identify and resolve issues across the platform efficiently.

– Conduct regular housekeeping and system administration tasks, to ensure optimal system performance and availability.

– Plan, review, and manage projects to patch, enhance or upgrade Finance and Procurement applications.

– Provide auditing and security reports to maintain adherence to ITCG, SAO, SOX, PII, PCI, and GDPR compliance.

– Perform user maintenance and access management activities.

What you’ll bring:

– A degree in computer science or equivalent, along with proven work experience as a system support analyst.

– Excellent technical skills in supporting applications running on Windows server and Unix server environments.

– Applicants need exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information, as well as to document processes and procedures.

– Excellent technical and creative problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and address system issues.

– Experience of working with multiple support vendors.

– Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present to different levels of stakeholders (including senior management).

– Interest in current and future technology opportunities to improve our operational efficiency.

– The flexibility to accommodate out of hours work to support the Finance & Procurement platforms.

Desirable skills:

– Technical experience of supporting Finance & Procurement applications.

– Experience of ITIL helpdesk systems such as ServiceNow.

– Experience of database administration activities.

The Group ERP Platforms team is a newly formed team, leveraging our brilliant talent across our regions. We are looking for a system support analyst to assist with the technical support of some of our key Finance and Procurement applications.
