Intelligent Transport Systems is a part of the Customer Strategy and Technology division of Transport for NSW. It is responsible for providing the smart infrastructure, real-time data and operational systems required to manage the transport network. Focussed primarily on delivering new capabilities through the application of advanced technology, we are a passionate group of engineers and technologists intent on helping improve NSW through the delivery of our exciting Future Transport Technology roadmap. The Opportunity
Transport for New South Wales is seeking for a Systems Engineer to join Data Systems and Integration team. The role is a permanent full time position based at CBD with flexible work options. The Systems Engineer will be motivated to conduct the design and integration of capability enhancements, upgrades for existing platform communication systems, as well as system architecture development. You will have great experience in working with various business units within TfNSW and IT partners, suppliers.
You will provide systems engineering and assurance functions for Data Systems and Integration team and will maintain a holistic view of business and technology systems. Act as trusted expert that will drive consistent systems engineering and assurance methodologies and practices across the Transport cluster.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 8 ($120,423 - $134,872) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
