About the Team

The Institutional Clients Group (ICG) Engineering and Architecture Practice (EAP) focuses on ensuring architectural cohesion and delivering common, cross-functional capabilities across ICG Technology.

This role will be in Governance & Adoption (GA). The GA is a newly created hands-on function within the EAP whose mission is to set focus on realizing value by controlling the delivery of the strategy and driving sustainable adoption. The function defines and implements a high standard project management framework, adoption methodology and change management to enable transformation and tangible results.

About the Role

This is a Change Agent role to transform the working environment of the 18,000 people who make up the ICG development community. The ICG EAP Technical Writer will utilize technical expertise to facilitate the adoption process by providing technical recommendation, producing and delivering training material and best practice documentation. This role will work across the technology teams to bring awareness to the user-centricity.

Expert is curating technical documentation and best practices working closely with teams across functions. This role will report to the ICG EAP Head of Governance & Adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Curate technical instructions, standard and best practices
• Streamline and improve documentations such as guidelines, manuals and instructions
• Develop training content and tutorials (including newsletters and video content)
• Deliver technical training and coaching
• Consolidate user experience feedback
• Collect, structure and clarify end-users’ requirements
• Control the delivery of the strategic priorities and roadmap as per requirements
• Provide technical analysis and recommendation
• Manage strategic backlog
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Challenge, support and guide teams to align standards
• Facilitate Cloud migration and adoption of tools, capabilities and best practices

Experience

• Extensive experience delivering high quality technical content, training material and sessions
• Comfortable managing content across different platforms
• Proven track record as a high performing developer in a large organization
• Expertise in Cloud platforms, associated Developer Toolchains, DevOps models and best practices
• Experience in change management, service delivery or professional services
• Familiar with Confluence and JIRA
• Strong experience with data analysis, presentation tools and content creation tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe)
• Background in financial services
